How to get to the Dominican Republic
In the Dominican Republic there are 9 international airports, but really
only 5 of them serve international flights:
● Las Americas International Airport
(Airport code — SDQ; phone — 809−549−0081) — the country's main airport,
located 20 km from Santo Domingo.
● Punta Cana International Airport
(Airport code — PUJ; phone — 809−595- 2473) — caters to the tourist zone of
Bavaro — Punta Cana.
● La Romana International Airport
(Airport code — LRM; phone — 809- 689- 1548) — is located in the city of La
Romana surroundings (Casa de Campo resort and Bayahibe).
● Gregorio Luperon International
Airport
(Airport code — POP; phone — 809- 586−1992) — caters to the tourist area of
Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata and resorts of the northern coast of the
country.
