Azua Barahona - Southwest of the Dominican Republic
Imagine a village without asphalt with colorful wooden
houses, discotheques, built of reeds … This — the south-western part of the
island, where the variety of natural landscapes almost limitless. Between the capital and stretch Barahona sugarcane, vegetables and bananas between Barahona
and Pedernales — cactus plantation. Everywhere — wildlife.
Bani
Only one hour away by car from the capital is spread the area with tranquil beaches. In the city are — colorful wooden

the church of Our Lady of Nuestra Señora de Regla — many restaurants and shops

San Cristóbal

kilometers to the west from the capital is San Cristóbal. Founded by the
brother of Christopher Columbus, the city — the birthplace of the first
constitution of the Dominican Republic and, as it is paradoxical, the birthplace of her first dictator — Rafael Leonidas Trujillo. There are a lot of

The peninsula Bahoruco

Magnetic pole of Cabra

Park and the Lake Enriquillo
Following the direction from the coast inland, Enriquillo

hollow, located 40 meters below sea level. Above the lake water rises, as if by
